Our manufacturing client in PA is immediately hiring for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

MUST HAVE:

3+ years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience
3+ years designing custom conveyor systems
3+ years working in SolidWorks (or similar) in 3D
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

NICE TO HAVE:

5-7 years of mechanical design engineering and SolidWorks

DAY TO DAY:

The Mechanical Design Engineer designs simple to complex custom conveyor systems for food manufacturing plants, translating customer requirements into detailed SolidWorks models and production-ready drawings. This role collaborates closely with a team of seven engineers, project managers, and manufacturing partners to ensure designs meet safety, sanitation, and performance standards. Day to day work includes concept development, design revisions, BOM creation, and supporting builds through fabrication and installation. The engineer also participates in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
