For more information, follow Telesat on X and LinkedIn or visit www.telesat.com The role supports Telesat’s compliance with the regulatory framework underpinning the operation of Telesat’s GSO satellites and NGSO constellation in the three main regulatory arenas: International (International Telecommunication Union (ITU)), the U.S. (Federal Communications Commission (FCC)) and domestic (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED)). The incumbent is responsible for obtaining, managing and maintaining the spectrum regulatory approvals required for Telesat’s space segment, including licences issued by ISED, the FCC, and other relevant authorities; leading Telesat responses to relevant telecom consultations and proceedings; and support to engineering-led international frequency coordination activities.
