Engineer 4

We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to provide technical expertise, solve complex engineering problems, and guide work within an assigned area of expertise. This senior technical role offers substantial independence and includes mentoring engineers, reviewing technical work, and supporting utility engineering projects.

Must Have

• Eight to twelve years of engineering experience.
• Active state Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Experience in the utility industry.
• Strong analytical, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex engineering assignments.

Nice to Have

• Four-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program; civil engineering preferred.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background with relevant structural and full-building analysis experience may also be considered.
• Pole-loading and joint-use experience.
• Experience serving as Engineer of Record, including signing and sealing engineering documents.

Day - Day

• Provide engineering expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical problems.
• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor engineering work.
• Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, calculations, sketches, correspondence, and project documentation.
• Review work completed by other engineering professionals.
• Coach and mentor engineers to support technical development and quality.
• Apply sound engineering judgment while working independently.
• Maintain and expand technical knowledge and support continuous improvement.
