Meridian Industrial Solutions is a growing manufacturing and distribution company providing equipment, components, and operational solutions to customers across the United States. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and help strengthen financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making as we continue to grow.

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the organization. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and operational teams to provide accurate financial insights and support strategic business decisions.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where they can take ownership of financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators
• Develop financial models and provide analysis to support business decisions
• Monitor company expenses, cash flow, and operating performance
• Partner with operations and department leaders to develop and manage budgets
• Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate findings to leadership
• Oversee accounting processes and ensure financial data is accurate and timely
• Support annual planning and forecasting processes
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance activities
• Improve financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls
• Provide financial guidance to senior leadership and department managers
• Lead and mentor accounting or finance team members as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis
• 2+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial or ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or other operational environments
• Experience with ERP implementations or financial systems improvements
• Experience building financial models and dashboards
