Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead utility engineering projects, coordinate team workflow, and ensure quality work is delivered on schedule. This role oversees project execution, manages resources, and maintains strong communication with clients and internal leadership.

Must Have

• Two-year degree in Engineering Technology or a related field and/or a minimum of two years of related communications or distribution experience.
• Working knowledge of utility line construction and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), including the ability to identify distribution equipment and associated hazards.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated management and business skills, with the ability to provide leadership, motivation, and direction.
• Proven success developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing or unclear priorities.
• Strong accountability, professional ethics, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Day - Day

• Supervise project activities and direct workflow.
• Maintain quality control and ensure projects meet established schedules.
• Coordinate the efficient use of project resources.
• Communicate project progress, status, and issues to management and clients.
• Develop project specifications and implement practices that meet client and management objectives.
• Maintain familiarity with client utility policies and procedures to communicate effectively with their teams.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Uphold company values and maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
