VP of Operations

Our client is immediately seeking a VP of Operations to join their team in York, PA. This newly created leadership position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization while positioning the successful candidate for potential advancement into the President role as the company continues to grow.

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering or Operations Manager
• 5+ years of experience in a custom industrial machinery manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of factory operations and processes within custom industrial machinery, including budgeting, timelines, scheduling, parts, and production
• Strong people leadership and team management skills
• Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment

​NICE TO HAVE:

• Director-level leadership experience
• Experience overseeing multiple departments, including Manufacturing, Shipping, HR, Electrical, and related functions

DAY TO DAY: 

​The Vice President reports directly to the President and oversees daily operations across engineering, accounting, manufacturing, shipping, customer service, and HR, ensuring departments are performing effectively and projects remain on schedule and within budget. The role is responsible for improving operational efficiency, implementing processes and best practices, managing resources and personnel, monitoring project quality and progress, and holding department heads accountable through regular meetings and performance tracking.
