As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team.
Position Summary
The Controller will lead the accounting and financial reporting functions of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role is ideal for a finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment who is proficient in Oracle and Hyperion systems. The Controller will play a key leadership role in driving financial performance, process improvements, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, A/R, A/P, and Fixed Assets
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis using Hyperion
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external audit requirements
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and executive teams
Develop and mentor accounting team members to build a high-performing department
Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and financial systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Proficiency in Oracle ERP and Hyperion financial management software is required
Strong understanding of US GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
