Senior Corporate Accounting Manager – Manufacturing Growth

A growing manufacturing organization to hire a hands-on Corporate Accounting Manager who will own close processes, cost and inventory accounting, and internal controls as the company scales.

The role reports to the Controller, oversees a small accounting team, and drives process improvements across cost accounting, audits, and ERP systems. A CPA/CMA is desirable and California manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Multi-site manufacturing experience required.
• Strong standard cost accounting and/or job costing experience.
• Inventory accounting and cycle count experience.
• Internal controls and process improvement experience.
• Cloud ERP experience and advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP preferred.
• CPA or CMA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Oversee GL and transactional accounting activities.
• Manage standard cost accounting, job costing, and manufacturing variances.
• Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, and cycle counts.
• Support annual audits and strengthen internal controls and documentation.
• Partner with Operations and other functions to improve financial visibility.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Help build scalable accounting processes and infrastructure as the company grows.
